At Leges Legal, we believe that quality legal guidance should not be a privilege reserved for the affluent. Through our regular Legal Aid Clinics, we provide free initial consultations to underprivileged citizens who face legal challenges but lack the resources to seek professional help.
Our clinics operate monthly at community centers across Patna, offering guidance on property disputes, family law matters, labour rights, and civil issues. Our advocates volunteer their time to ensure that every citizen, regardless of economic status, understands their rights and the legal remedies available to them.
We have assisted hundreds of individuals in navigating complex legal processes, from filing basic petitions to understanding documentation requirements. Our commitment is to empower communities with legal knowledge and provide a pathway to justice for those who need it most.
Public Interest Litigation (PIL)
Leges Legal actively supports Public Interest Litigation as a powerful tool for social transformation. We represent cases that protect fundamental rights, safeguard the environment, and ensure governmental accountability to the public.
Our PIL practice focuses on issues that affect large segments of society—environmental protection, consumer rights, access to public services, and protection of marginalized communities. We have successfully filed and argued PILs before the Patna High Court, resulting in landmark orders that have improved public welfare.
Our team works closely with community organizations, environmental groups, and social activists to identify issues warranting judicial intervention. We handle these cases pro bono, bearing all legal costs ourselves, because we believe that some causes transcend commercial considerations.
